How did we not hear about this Urban Iditerod sooner? I’m a little upset about this, as it is something the SM crew would have gladly participated in! I’ve also heard that there is another, anti- Iditerod of sorts going on as well since the real deal one has been filled to capacity. Well, since we missed the boat on this adventure we have decided to dress as 1800′s fur trappers and hunt the dogs of the sled teams for their magnificent coats! Iditerod-ians beware! Ok, I’m lying about that last part, although maybe next year… So, we plan on hitting the prime spectators spot at the west end of the Burnside bridge around 2:30 to see the action and rub some elbows. Oh! If anyone knows the location of the elusive anti-Iditerod let us know, as I’m too lazy to look myself!
