Five sexy people are going to get raffled off (for human sacrifice?) tonight, all in the name of sex slavery charity. The proceeds go to support Portland’s Salvation Army Women’s Shelter. So go! • Straight from our collective hometown (Kansas City represent (??)), the absolutely fantastic roots rock band The Wilders are playing at Mississippi Studios tonight. Not everyone’s thing, I know, but if you’re into Americana/roots music, these boys do it as well as anyone in the country. The Wilders tick both of SM’s boxes when it comes to music – it is highly conducive to both fighting and drinking. Sample the wares here.
