Hello friends. What a terrible week, eh? I managed to escape most of it with a potent cocktail of video games, ‘tea’, reading and television. Oh yes and work… Well, the weekend is nearly here and that means we can inflict mental and bodily harm upon ourselves with no repercussions! Right?!? Right. I tried to talk my wife into flying to China for a little ‘Qīzi hù huàn‘ if you know what I mean. Alas, the response was not as I had hoped. Guess we’ll be roaming our fair city…

I’m interested in visiting the Curious Comedy Theater to see “Sock it to Me!” RonMK and I witnessed a performance by Stacey Hallal and Bob Ladewig at The Woods a couple/few months ago and it was damn funny. 10 bucks in advance for a two hour show, not too shabby. If we end up going AND it’s funny/worth the money look for a future story. Doors open at 7:30 $12 at the door.
I imagine after the comedies we will venture to a nearby bar to continue the laughs. The Crowbar perhaps? The Bye and Bye? Come and find us and we will reward you with the honor of buying us shots!

So the ladies are talking about doing some strange thing called dancing. I’m not exactly sure what it means but I hear they (the ladies) move their bodies in a peculiar fashion, gyrations and such. I’m having trouble finding such an activity that doesn’t require an invisible ball (If there were substances involved that could help me find this elusive ball I might consider going to one of those events…) Any suggestions on an alternative choice of music? I’ll keep you posted on our discoveries as the weekend progresses. Until then…
